Lawyer from the Universidad Autónoma de Colombia, with graduate degrees in criminal law and transitional justice from the same institution, as well as in evidence law from Universidad Sergio Arboleda. He’s currently in the process of obtaining a master's degree in cybercrime from the International University of La Rioja (Spain).
He has lectured criminal procedural law and evidentiary law at the Manuela Beltrán University and at the Lombroso School of Criminalistics in the area of criminal investigation.
In addition, he has had a professional career as an investigator and national coordinator of Judicial Police in the area of Human Rights of the Attorney General's Office, where he led multiple investigations against organized crime. He was also a certified detective of the Administrative Department of Security, where he also led investigations against transnational crime.
