Co-founding partner of Riveros Bazzani Abogados. Bazzani Montoya is a lawyer from the Externado University of Colombia with a graduate degree in criminal procedure from the same university and an LL.M in Criminal Law from the State University of New York at Buffalo –SUNY Buffalo-.
Bazzani Montoya is also an undergraduate professor of criminal law and criminal procedure at the Externado de Colombia University. In its graduate school he is also professor of criminal evidence.
He worked as an advisor in the Attorney General's Office, including directly to the offices of both the Attorney General and the Deputy Attorney General, leading investigations of national impact as a prosecutor, as well as several legislative initiatives such as the Private Prosecutor Law (Law 1816/2017), and reforms to the insurance measures regime (Law 1760/2015 and Law 1786/2016).
From the office of the prosecutor, he led several legislative process as the Act of a Private Prosecutor (Law 1816/2017), and reforms to the regime of assurance measures (Law 1760/2015 and Law 1786/2016).
He was also a representative of the Prosecutor's Office in the High Council of Criminal Policy of the Ministry of Justice.
It has been highlighted for their important defenses to public servants, businesses, and economic groups.
